Bad Blogger

I’ve been bad about keeping up this week, but we’ve been extremely busy. So I guess it’s a good thing! I’ve put all my spare time into studying and working on the calendar. Miss E has been absolutely wonderful all week. I could write 2 pages on the adorable things she’s said. Going back to work is seriously going to be the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Two months ago, it wouldn’t have been so hard. But it’s killing me to think I can’t spend as much time with her as I do now. I love watching her grow and learn. I love the things she comes up with. Like on Monday we were putting on clothes and I put my Panther’s jersey on. She said, “Touchdown Panther’s shirt, mommy!” I smiled then moved to her room and grabbed her cheerleading outfit and when I put it on she pointed to the Panther, threw her hands up and said, “Go Panther’s!” I can’t believe she understood the differences in the shirts. The jersey was like what the players wear when they score touchdowns, the dress was what the cheerleaders wore and cheered in. It amazes me what she understands.
So I enrolled for the PRAXIS 2 exams for Jan. 10. Keep me in your prayers, because I’m going to need it! 2 tests and 1 starts at 7:30. EWWW!!! But this is something I have to do…
We went to gym on Wed. and E had sooo much fun. I was able to talk to the Gymboree people and they aren’t going to charge me until after Christmas so I can keep taking her until I have to go back to work. So I guess I know where my Christmas money is going! She danced the whole class. Thankfully I had my camera to capture some of it.

Isn’t she cute? I know I’m biased, but still.
We got some Christmas present money today from the wonderfully amazing Aunt Charlotte that we needed to use so I could wrap them time. Can you believe X-mas is 2 weeks away?? I’m excited, but it’s happening too fast. If anyone would like to join us on Christmas, we’re having people over for a low-key lunch. Let me know if you’d like to stop by, we’d love to have you! After shopping, we came home so E could nap and then we headed to my friend Brandon’s house. He plays music really well and learned a couple of songs just for E. She loved it. She danced around singing and stomping her feet. She also played on his Foosball table and said, “Baby playing Foosball!” I don’t know where she learned the word because neither of us remembered saying it. And we both heard her say it. It was too freakin weird! Well, I’m going to close for now. I’ve got some studying to do. I hope everyone has had a great week. I know we have!

OMG!

I’m about to pass out, but wanted to blog first. I’ve been working since 9 a.m. this morning and it’s now 10:30!
Yesterday we ran to Best Buy to get some kid cd’s for the roadtrip Wed. Horrible selections!! But oh well, what we got will do. We then headed to 5 Guys for lunch, Target and the grocery. Then we got home and started working on my grandmom’s Christmas gifts since we’re doing an early Christmas when we visit. I made some awesome stuff which I’ll post later. I then cooked dinner and it didn’t agree with me so well, so I passed out.

This morning I got up and went to a shoot in my neighborhood. I didn’t get what we wanted, which stunk. But I came home and edited the photo’s to try and get them to work and by the time I was done, it was time to go to my next shoot in Gastonia. I was there for over 2 hours, it was 2 different shoots, and came home to eat then edit 100 pictures. Then I had to do my best bets for the calendar, so I didn’t get to spend any time with Miss E. She has been in the best mood all week. There have been so many moments where I look at her and am in complete awe of how cute and sweet she is. Tonight as I was editing and trying to watch the Panther’s game out of the corner of my eye, I yelled s-h-i-t and the little monster spelled it back. I couldn’t believe the first word she spelled was that! She is too smart for her own good. I’ve tried to get her to spell so many words and go figure that was the one she chose. So I guess I can’t outsmart her. Well, we have a busy week ahead of us. I’m not looking forward to the drive to Kinston. But I am looking forward to putting up my tree when we get back!!! Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Vote

We voted early this morning so we missed the long lines. We went to pick up Rachael and after we turned off of her street we realized we vote at different places. Go figure. So we took her back and headed to our precinct. Ella was really good and loved her voting sticker. We came home and played outside before it started raining. Then it was nap time and I got some stuff done around the house. She woke up in a mood, so we stayed in the rest of the day. Nothing else to report. Hope everyone isn’t going insane watching the results. I’m scared…

Glad mom is home!

It was nice to spend the day with mom, even though she’s still under the weather. She let me sleep in until 10:30, which was nice. After I woke up I played with E until her nap time. She was in such a great mood. I’m not sure she really had a nap, but at least she rested. I heard her talking most of the time and by 1:45 it was time to get up. After lunch we ran to Toys R Us to get a Santa item. I found this dollhouse a few months ago and fell in love with it. My Me-maw asked me what she needed, so I came up with a list and I went to show mom the stuff today and saw they were sold out online. So, we went by there to see if they had it and thankfully they did. I did way too much research to let that one get by! I can’t wait to see her face when Santa leaves it. 🙂 We also found a Belle doll with a pony that the doll can ride, so we got that too. After shopping we went to Lowes to get some flowers for out front. Then ran to the grocery. I made dinner and then we played, read, rocked and she went to sleep. Not much else to report. Oh, except I got a notification from my insurance saying our bill is going up to $400 in January! I’m not happy about that AT ALL! That’s just nuts. I really hope who ever becomes president will do something about insurance quickly. I’m not for public health care, but there needs to be breaks for people who have private insurance. Especially people like me who don’t want to depend on the government but needs a break every once in a while.

OK, I’m an idiot

So I just looked at my doctor note for the MRI and it’s next Thursday, not tomorrow. I don’t know how I messed that one up, but I guess that’s where my brain is at. Thankfully Judi is still coming, so I will get a much needed break.

ARGH!!!

I’m so frustrated I could scream. I spent all morning looking for a neurologist who isn’t an out patient facility so I don’t have to meet my deductible and insurance pays for it. Well they don’t exist in Charlotte. One place did but they wouldn’t have the testing there that I would need. I spent all this time researching so what happened with physical therapy wouldn’t happen again and I’m screwed no matter what. I booked an appointment for next Friday. So I guess it’ll be November before I actually find out what’s going on. IF they can even figure it out. I want Dr. House. LOL

the air guy

So the guy was supposed to call this morning to let me know when he was coming. Never called. So I put E down for her nap and called to find out. He said he’d be here at 2:30. So, we stayed in the house waiting, again. 4 p.m. he shows up! What a jerk. Why do men not call if they are running late? All my life I’ve wondered that… So E and I played around all afternoon waiting for him. She was playing with her Old McDonald toy and I started to sing ABCD, then she goes, “E, F, G, H, I…” I about lost it. Well, my tummy is hurting so I’m off to bed.
