Proteins are important in everyone’s diet. It’s especially important when exercising! I wanted to share a organic peanut butter cookie recipe that is extra yummy and healthy!
1/2 cup of organic peanut butter (I love the Harris Teeter Naturals brand)
1/2 cup of organic butter
1/2 cup of organic cane sugar
1/2 cup of organic brown sugar
1 cage free organic egg
1 1/2 cup of organic whole wheat flour
3/4 tsp organic baking soda
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp organic baking powder
Pre-heat oven to 375. Melt butter then cream together butter, peanut butter and sugars. Sift together dry ingredients. Add egg then slowly add dry mix. Mix well! Roll dough into small balls and press down with a salad fork. Bake on an ungreased baking sheet for 10-12 minutes. Then enjoy.
