Last year around Christmas, I was searching for fun Eco-friendly toys for E. Which if you read my previous post about Eco-shopping in Charlotte- it’s slim pickings. But, I was at my local bookstore of all places when I came across a Green Toys Tea Set. I knew E would love the set, especially since the tea pot was pink and the lid purple- her two favorite colors! The Tea Set ended up being her favorite Christmas present and she didn’t care about any other toy that day.8 months later, it is still one of her favorite toys. Which says a lot since most of her toys end up hidden in her toy box. Green Toys sent us a amazing Cookware & Dining Set to review and Ella hasn’t stopped playing with them. The Cookware & Dining set comes with 4 plates, 4 bowls, 4 cups, 4 place settings, a stock pot with lid and a skillet. E likes put all of the utensils on the plates, she eats raisins out of the bowls, takes her tea cups and plates to the bath for a wet tea party, she even “cooks” dinner for me every night. She loves to cook her fake food in the stock pot and then on her plates. This set is every little girl’s dream toy!

The best part about Green Toys is that all of their products are made with recycled milk jugs!! Milk jugs are made out of HDPE plastic, which is the safest and cleanest plastics on the market. So not only are you getting a safe toy, you are supporting the reusing cause. Another great fact about Green Toys is that all of their products are made right here in the USA in California. All of their toys are packaged in recycled corrugated boxes with no twist ties holding the toys down. So your child can easily access the toy without needing your help! Even though Green Toys are made with safe plastics, they still undergo numerous product testing to make sure all of their toys are the highest quality.   30. My little boy (4) would love the Recycling Truck & Dump Truck. My little girl (2) would love the Cooking & Dining Set and the Tea Set. I'm sure my 9 month old would love “tasting” each and every single product of theirs. HAHA! At least they're made from a safe material!
