So Black Friday is less than a week away. Man that is a scary thought! I hate hiding presents around the house, so I like to wrap gifts as soon as I purchase them. Not that I will be doing any holiday shopping this year… but I know lots of you will! A great alternative to recycled wrapping paper is reusable organic cotton holiday bags. These are super cute for Santa gifts as well. As I was browsing Etsy’s Christmas gear, I came across NikkiDesigns and she has some great Eco-friendly handmade products.

NikkiDesigns makes organic reusable bags in 3 sizes- small, medium and large. They are hand painted with either a silver snowflake or modern Christmas tree.The large bag is 12″ wide and 14″ tall, the medium is 10″ wide and 10″ tall, and the small is 6″ wide and 8″ tall. I was sent the medium bag to review and it is adorable! The bag is very durable and it seems like it will last for years. I love that the drawstrings can be pulled super tight and tied to keep out snoopers.

I was able to fit 5 books into the bag with it still being able to close tightly. Smaller toys would also fit. The bags are preshrunk and are machine washable. You can get a set of 3 for $20! If you purchase the bags before Nov. 30 you will get a free matching gift tag. Also, Nikki can do custom bags as long as your order by Dec. 1.
